RDAA Coach Education System
RDA riding coaches are qualified under the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS). They have skills in horsemastership, safety, medical knowledge, first aid, teaching, selection and training of horses. Many are also highly qualified and experienced in other professions including special education, physiotherapy and other Para-medical fields.
RDAA provides training to its volunteers/coaches through an accredited coaching training system in 3 progressive stages:

A secure online coaches’ portal is currently being developed for the RDAA national website with a grant from The Myer Foundation and The Sidney Myer Fund Capacity Building Grant ‘Celebrating our Partners Project’. This dedicated website has been designed to support the work and development of RDA volunteers/coaches who deliver the vital services of RDA.
