Riding for the Disabled Association South Australia (RDASA) was first incorporated in South Australia in 1972.
520 trained volunteers provide services at 11 RDA centres across South Australia, with 2 more centres in the pipeline. In 2008, RDSA SA will launch a mobile unit funded by a generous grant from the Paul Newman's Own Foundation.
RDA SA centres are managed totally by volunteers who provide support in the following areas:
- Administration
- Fundraising
- Events
- Horse-care
- Coaching
- Volunteer training

The majority of RDA riders in South Australia are children but services are available to anyone with a medically certified disability.
RDA SA centres are overseen by the RDA SA State Office at Maylands. The office operates with part-time staff filling the equivalent of 5 full-time positions.
