RDA Australia relies on the generous support of individuals and organisations to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities & special needs. RDA Australia is a registered charity and limited company. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. RDA Australia’s role is to promote awareness of the work of RDA states/territories & centres across Australia.
Each week over 3000 volunteers at RDA centres across Australia donate their time to assist 4000 children & adults with disabilities enjoy the therapeutic benefits of horse related activities
RDA Australia raises money to support its Australia wide initiatives including but not limited to:
RDA States & Territories support their local centres.
RDA Centres - each individual group is responsible for raising their own funds.
RDA Horses must be:
- purchased, donated or leased long term
- fed, shod & stabled

- provided with veterinary care & attention
- kitted out with saddlery & special safety equipment
